Job Title: General Labourer

Location: Bonnyville, AB (with travel across North Eastern Alberta, including Ft. McMurray)
Job Summary:
Warco Industrial is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals for the position of General Labourer. This role will involve a variety of industrial and oilfield-related tasks, supporting tradespeople and contributing to the safe and efficient operation of worksites. The position requires individuals with a strong work ethic, the ability to work in dynamic environments, and a willingness to contribute to the successful completion of turnaround tasks within a set timeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general site clean-up and maintenance tasks
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., welders, pipefitters, millwrights) as needed
- Operate basic hand and power tools
- Follow safety protocols and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Support setup and teardown of job sites and temporary structures
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to all company and site-specific safety regulations
- Complete any other duties as assigned by site supervisors or managers
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- H2S Alive certification (mandatory)
- CSO (Construction Safety Orientation) certification (mandatory)
- Confined Space entry training (mandatory)
- Fall Arrest training (asset)
- Pre-access drug and alcohol testing required
- Willingness to work night shifts when required
- Ability to work long hours with flexibility in scheduling
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work well within a team and take direction
Schedule:
- Night shifts may be required depending on the project’s needs
- Monday-Friday
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate, overtime after 8 hours
