Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Security Guard
- Supervisory experience (2 years preferred)
- Combination of experience and training may be considered
- Valid licensing/registration requirements met
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Criminal record check within 30 days of hire
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform all security guard functions
- Step into the Security Supervisor role as assigned by the Security Manager
- Cover shifts for Security Manager and Supervisors when needed
- Assist with daily operations: paperwork, timesheets, schedules
- Support performance reviews
- Conduct camera rollbacks when requested by MOD
- Train new security guards (incident reports, patron counts, etc.)
- Take direction from Management as required
Key Relationships
- Work closely with security staff, management, and patrons
- Communicate clearly and deal tactfully in all interactions
Working Conditions
- Flexible schedule: late nights, weekends, holidays required
- Smoking facility — must be able to work in this environment
