Comec Energy Services is seeking an innovative, relationship-focused professional to join their team as a Recruitment Specialist. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in recruiting for the oilfield industry. They must be able to work independently, manage a demanding workload, be results-driven, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Position Details:

Location: Cold Lake, On-Site

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee recruitment activities for all divisions, ensuring efficient and effective processes are utilized to find and retain top talent.
Maintain and develop a pipeline of eligible candidates for current and future open positions.
Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to candidate selection and onboarding.
Ensure compliance with job requirements, including necessary trades, apprenticeship, and safety certifications.
Work closely with the Management Team to ensure effective recruitment practices align with company needs and objectives.
Stay current on recruitment best practices, including managing social media campaigns and using online recruitment platforms.
Administer pre-employment screening and testing as required.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional recruitment role.
Strong knowledge of recruitment processes for skilled trades and oilfield positions.
Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field is considered an asset.
CPHR designation is considered an asset.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office, online recruitment software, online marketing systems such as social media, with a quick ability to learn new systems.
Ability to work independently with a strong work ethic and minimal supervision.
Maintain confidentiality and act professionally and ethically at all times.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and best practices in Alberta.
