Grinder Operator
Location: Elk Point, AB
Shift: 14 days on / 7 days off
J. Post Haulage is seeking an experienced Grinder Operator to operate a grinder in Elk Point, AB. This is a hands-on role ideal for an operator who is confident working independently, managing multiple tasks on site, and maintaining a strong focus on safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a grinder safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance.
- Complete mulching and land-clearing work as directed.
- Assist with other site tasks as required.
- Work independently while communicating effectively with supervisors and crew.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO) experience.
- Experience operating grinders.
- Excavator experience considered a strong asset.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing site conditions.
- Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.
Preferred (Not Required):
- Previous site supervisor or lead hand experience.
