Job Description:
J. Post Haulage is seeking an experienced Grinder Operator to operate a grinder throughout the region. This is a hands-on role ideal for an operator who is confident working independently, managing multiple tasks on site, and maintaining a strong focus on safety.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate a grinder safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance
- Complete mulching and land-clearing work as directed
- Assist with other site tasks as required
- Work independently while communicating effectively with supervisors and crew
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures

- Bonnyville
- Cold Lake
- Elk Point
- Smoky Lake
- St. Paul
Employees report to the shop in Elk Point each morning.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO) experience
- Experience operating grinders
- Excavator experience considered a strong asset
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing site conditions
- Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset
Preferred (Not Required):
- Previous site supervisor or lead hand experience
