Job Summary
Legend Oilfield is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Super B Driver to join their team. This role involves hauling spent scavenger (chemical) from the Cold Lake and Conklin areas to Athabasca. The position includes weekly travel to the Devon wash facility, and the successful candidate must be comfortable with occasional overnight stays in the truck.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 1 Super B unit in accordance with company policies and provincial regulations.
- Haul spent scavenger (chemical) from Cold Lake and Conklin sites to Athabasca.
- Travel to the Devon wash facility once per week for equipment washing and maintenance (overnight stay in the truck may be required).
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure equipment is maintained in safe operating condition.
- Accurately complete logs, tickets, and required documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures, TDG requirements, and environmental regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, site personnel, and management.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean abstract.
- Super B experience preferred.
- Previous experience hauling chemicals or oilfield fluids is considered an asset.
- Valid safety tickets: CSO, First Aid, H2S Alive, WHMIS.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to travel to Devon weekly and stay overnight in the truck when required.
