Position Summary
Lakeland HR Solutions is seeking reliable, safety-conscious Class 1 and Class 3 Drivers to support our diverse client base across the Lakeland region. Opportunities range from local aggregate hauling, fluid/water transfer, and industrial deliveries to freight delivery and municipal routes.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Operation: Safely operate Class 1 or Class 3 commercial vehicles on local highways, gravel roads, and job sites.

Inspections & Documentation: Perform mandatory pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections. Complete accurate logbooks, bills of lading, and field service sheets.

Load Security: Secure loads in accordance with transport regulations using chains, straps, or tarping systems where required.

Maintenance: Maintain basic fleet hygiene and report equipment defects or maintenance needs promptly to dispatch/shop teams.

Safety Protocols: Comply with local traffic laws, client site rules, zero-tolerance policies, and provincial commercial transport regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements

Licensing: Valid Alberta Class 1 or Class 3 Commercial Driver’s License with Air Brake (Q) Endorsement.

Driving Record: Clean or acceptable Commercial Driver’s Abstract (must be provided within 30 days of hire).

Experience: Minimum 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (experience with off-road/gravel driving or manual transmission assets is a strong asset).

Certifications: Valid Safety Tickets (Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSTS/CSO for industrial/oilfield sites, where applicable).
