We are looking for a full-time Skilled Technician to join our team in Cold Lake, AB. Communications Cold Lake installs, troubleshoots, maintains and repairs internet, fiber optic, security systems, video surveillance and related services at business and industrial locations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Installation of different systems
Test components and systems
Troubleshoot issues and make repairs
Fire alarm maintenance

Skills:

Some knowledge of building construction
Strong problem solving skills
Self-motivated and adaptable
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team environment
Willingness to learn and take direction from others
Conduit bending and installation would be a benefit

Requirements:

Flexible to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays, as well as on-call.
Available to work 40 hours per week, with the potential for overtime hours, if needed.
Valid driver’s license
Clear criminal background check
Ability to lift 75 lbs. and carry climb and work from a ladder
