They are currentlyseeking an experienced Lead Heavy Duty Mechanic to oversee and support our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys diverse, steady work and takes pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support the shop team to ensure timely, high-quality repairs and maintenance
- Complete diagnostics, repairs, and work orders on a variety of on-road trucks, trailers, and off-road equipment (including grinders, hoes, loaders, and skid steers)
- Maintain shop organization, workflow, and safety standards
- Perform CVIP inspections and ensure all work meets regulatory and company standards
What You Bring:
- Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic certification (required)
- CVIP certification with strong truck and trailer experience
- Class 5 driver’s licence (Class 1 an asset)
- Proven ability to lead, prioritize, and maintain a well-organized shop
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Schedule:
- 5-day work week with rotating weekends
