Shop Labourer
Location: St. Paul, AB
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Summary
Xtreme Oilfield Technology is seeking a dedicated Shop Labourer to join their St. Paul Shop. The Shop Labourer is responsible for performing duties in strict compliance with corporate policies, office procedures, established health and safety protocols, and all applicable local, provincial, and federal regulations.
Job Responsibilities

Accurately complete all job-specific, employee-related, and equipment-related Xtreme Oilfield paperwork and electronic documentation, including timesheets and daily work reports.

Provide training, coaching, mentoring, and oversight to trainees on an as-needed basis.
Cooperate and communicate with Operations and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) teams to provide input on Safe Operating Procedures, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and field-level documentation.

Work safely during all phases of assigned duties in the field.

Perform tasks in areas of varying dimensions, which may involve squatting, crawling, or other physical positions for extended periods.

Follow directions accurately and communicate effectively in English.

Safely operate and perform safety checks on all vehicles for which the employee is licensed.

Adapt to diverse scheduled and unscheduled projects, with physical demands and environmental conditions that vary depending on the project.

Work in extreme conditions, including heat, cold, heights, hazardous chemicals, loud noises, dangerous equipment, and long hours.

Perform physical activities that may include long periods of standing, walking, crouching, using hands, and lifting up to 50 pounds or more.

Specific tasks may include:

Empty garbage cans inside and outside buildings

Sweep floors in shop spaces and parts rooms
-
Operate forklifts and skid steers
-
Complete yard maintenance (snow removal, lawn care)

Clean yard of garbage or parts
-
Purge tanks in the wash bay
-
Wash units in the wash bay
-
Assist mechanics as required
-
Complete job-related paperwork
-
Drive a pickup truck for parts pickup or delivery
-
Perform additional labor-related tasks as required to support operations.
Qualifications

Valid Class 5 driver’s license.

Successful completion of pre-employment background and substance screening, including employment verification and criminal record checks. Ongoing verifications will be conducted to ensure compliance with company policy.
