Role Overview
Comec Energy Services is seeking skilled Journeyperson and Apprentice Pipefitters for an upcoming turnaround project at Christina Lake. This is a short-term, camp-provided position. They are looking for safety-conscious, hardworking individuals who can execute piping maintenance, modifications, and bolt-up safely and efficiently under tight project schedules.
Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and ISOs to determine layout and work requirements.

Assemble, install, maintain, and transition piping systems and supports.

Perform bolt-up, blinding, and de-blinding activities safely.

Collaborate with other trades on-site to ensure turnaround schedules are met.

Adhere strictly to Comec Energy Services' safety policies, site-specific hazards, and permit requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications

Valid Provincial or Red Seal Journeyperson Pipefitter certification, or registered Apprentice in good standing.

Valid CSO, First Aid, and H2S Alive Certifications.

Confined Space and Fall Protection certifications are considered assets.

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

Strong work ethic and physical ability to perform demanding manual labour in outdoor industrial environments.
