Job Summary:
Xtreme Oilfield Technology is currently seeking a reliable and organized Parts Person to join their team in St. Paul, AB. This role is primarily focused on supplying parts and inventory support to internal departments, including the shop and field service teams. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and experienced in managing parts for oilfield or heavy-duty equipment environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage internal parts inventory and ensure availability for shop and field operations.
- Source and order parts from vendors based on internal service requests.
- Track incoming orders and ensure timely delivery of critical components.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely and accurate parts fulfillment.
- Perform cycle counts, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and manage stock levels.
- Keep the parts area organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
- Maintain documentation for all incoming and outgoing inventory transactions.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Parts Technician certification is an asset but not required.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Prior experience in a parts technician or inventory control role preferred.
- Familiarity with oilfield, heavy-duty, or industrial equipment parts.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in computer systems
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with internal teams.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Must be self-motivated, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
