The St. Paul Friends of Playschool Society is looking for a Playschool Instructor to fill a temporary part-time contract position from September 2025 to June 2026. The playschool classroom is in the St. Paul Regional Highschool on the north side (4313 48th Ave.).
This position requires a compassionate, energetic, and reliable individual to work alongside our playschool assistant and playschool students that are aged three to five years.
Playschool Instructor Specific Skills:
· Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
· Caring and nurturing personality.
· Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
· Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding the abilities, interests, and needs of children.
· Establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with the playschool assistant.

Qualifications
· Applicant must have a Level 2 – Early Child Care Certificate
· First Aid Certification
· Current Criminal Record Check Required
· Previous experience working with young children in a school setting would be an asset.
