Job Title: Seismic Experienced EMR/PCP

Job Summary:
Primco Dene EMS LP is currently seeking Seismic Experienced EMRs/PCPs for upcoming camp-based deployments. This is an exciting opportunity for medics who thrive in off-road and wilderness environments and have the technical skill set to manage emergency situations in remote seismic operations. The project is expected to launch in November (TBD) and will require flexibility for camp-based work in remote conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical care and support during seismic exploration operations.
- Utilize GPS monitors to navigate seismic maps, locate waypoints, and respond to injured workers.
- Operate effectively in remote, off-road environments using handheld GPS devices.
- Maintain and operate a fully equipped Mobile Treatment Centre (MTC) with trailer.
- Conduct emergency response operations using snowmobiles and UTVs, including towing rescue toboggans.
- Use multiple communication methods including:
- Powered digital handheld radios.
- Boosted cellular phones.
- Satellite phones.
- Work collaboratively with other emergency response personnel and field crews.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of incidents and patient care.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Current registration as an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) or Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) with Alberta College of Paramedics.
- Previous seismic or remote resource project experience is required.
- Valid snowmobile and/or UTV certification.
- CSO, CSTS, H2S Alive, TDG, WHMIS certifications required.
- Strong understanding of remote navigation and emergency response in challenging terrain.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to use satellite, boosted, and digital radios.
- Valid Class 4 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Flexibility to work in camp settings and in adverse weather conditions.
