Position Overview
LSC Industrial is seeking hardworking, reliable Oilfield Labourers to join their field operations team. In this role, you will provide essential hands-on labour across various oilfield sites. Your day-to-day work will be diverse, ranging from assembling and maintaining Quonset tents to executing concrete work and safely dismantling construction buildings and industrial equipment. The scope of this role may also include the operation of equipment such as skid steers, zoom booms, and knuckle pickers. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup, anchoring, and maintenance of industrial Quonset tents and temporary structures on site.
- Support civil and concrete tasks, including prepping ground, setting forms, pouring, and finishing concrete as required.
- Safely tear down and dismantle construction buildings, temporary facilities, and oilfield equipment at the end of project phases.
- Perform rigorous manual labor including clearing debris, loading/unloading materials, and organizing tools to keep oilfield sites safe and efficient.
- Strictly adhere to all oilfield safety regulations, participate in daily tailgate/toolbox meetings, and properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Requirements
- Previous experience in oilfield labour, commercial construction, or heavy industrial work is preferred.
- Experience with concrete or structural dismantling is an asset.
- Experience operating skid steers, zoom booms, and/or knuckle pickers is considered an asset.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50+ lbs regularly), stand for long periods, and work in varied weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, mud).
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract.
- Standard oilfield safety tickets (e.g., H2S Alive, First Aid, CSO).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to take direction from site supervisors and work effectively with a crew.
