At BUSH-els of Fun Pet Care Services, we believe pets are family. We love our pets like we love our own by providing caring, professional support for pets and their people through services such as pet visits, walking, pet taxi, overnight care, farm animal care, training support, clean-up services, light grooming and more. We believe that fun comes out in the form of nurturing and compassion. In 6 years in business, we have gone from providing limited in-home services to just a handful of customers, to today having a team of over a dozen Aunties who service every community in the Lakeland to over 600 customers. And yet somehow we are still growing, and in big ways, and looking for the biggest animal lovers in the Lakeland who are looking for a job so fulfilling that it doesn’t even feel like a job at all.
Doggy Daycare Attendant (Full Time & Part Time)
Get paid to play at DOGtopia—the Lakeland’s first and only Doggy Daycare, Grooming & Training Centre. We’re opening in September and building the dream team now.
If you’ve ever thought the dream job was to just hang out with dogs all day, well here’s your chance to experience it!
What You’ll do
· Supervise group play with a large group of happy, goofy, wiggly dog packs
· Organize Enrichment activities to ensure the dogs go home calm and tired.
· Host PAWties- Birthday Celebrations, themed events, and adorable photo ops
· Clean & Reset Spaces that keep playrooms fresh, safe and sparkling
· Walk Dogs when they need a break from the controlled chaos.
Requirements:
· 16 + may be considered
· Able to keep up to the physical requirements of working with dogs including light lifting
· Must have experience with dogs—and your dogs at home do count!
· Must be able to adapt, as dogs can create unpredictable situations and environments and maintain a PAWsitive Attitude and be a helpful team player.
