Cold Lake Lodge is accepting applications for a permanent part time Night Supervisor position. Cold Lake Lodge offers independent living to seniors.
This position is an overnight awake position and entails a variety of shifts (days, evenings and nights) which will be determined by the Lodge Manager. Current rotation (Subject to change) 12:00am-8:00am 4 shifts on, 4 days off- 8hrs per shift.
Salary Schedule: $21.07 - $24.26
Shift premium: $2.50 per hour for majority of hours between 1600 and 800 hours
Responsibilities:
- Laundry, housekeeping and dietary duties
- Reports and security rounds as required
- Resident checks as required
- Provide courteous, professional customer service
- React as second responder to all emergency calls
- The ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Respond to any resident/guest/staff concerns, events or emergency situations which need your attention. This includes resident conflicts, limited personal care assistance to residents, greeting and directing guests or contractors, providing information and assistance to homecare.
- Adhere to all Lakeland Lodge and Housing Foundation Policies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ability to provide a clear vulnerable sector check/ criminal record
- Exemplary attitude and skills providing a clean environment
- Laundry experience
- Minimal cooking skills
- Kind, positive, pleasant, mature attitude
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Supervisory abilities with residents, guests and staff
- Ability to make emergency decisions
- Ability to work as a team player or independently
- Ability to work with Seniors
- First Aid
- Previous experience an asset
