Part-Time Housekeeper

The Role
The Housekeeper ensures the cleanliness and overall maintenance of our facilities. This role is vital in maintaining a welcoming, safe environment and involves both cleaning andsmaller day-to-day maintenance work.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning: Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum all common areas, offices, and restrooms. Regularly disinfect high-touch surfaces.
- Maintenance: Perform required day-to-day maintenance work and monitor facility functionality; report major issues promptly to the Director of Operations.
- Laundry & Inventory: Manage laundry (linens/towels). Track and restock supplies (soap, paper products) and maintain tidy donation storage.
- Safety: Ensure proper disposal of trash/recycling and follow all health and safety guidelines regarding cleaning chemicals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma; previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred.
- Mandatory: Clear Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Check.
- Maintenance Skills: Proven ability to perform maintenance tasks and address facility repairs independently.
- Soft Skills: Ability to work independently, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality and empathy.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, reach, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.
