Location: Camp-Based Position – Foster Creek, Alberta
Comec Energy Services is seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse Technician with a background in insulation to join their team. This is a camp-based position supporting ongoing site operations and materials logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist front desk with processing material requests
- Oversee material storage, organization, and procurement
- Daily issue of material to trade craft as needed
- Perform material tracking and accurate data entry
- Maintain inventory and conduct regular stock assessments
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehousing/materials handling
- Knowledge of Insulation materials and/or procurement experience is an asset
- Proficiency in SAP considered an asset
- Forklift operation experience required
- Knowledge of insulation materials and/or procurement processes is an asset
- Strong ability to work independently and resolve day-to-day operational issues
- Strong communication skills
- H2S Alive, First Aid, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), and WHMIS required
- Valid equipment operation tickets (Forklift, Bobcat, Zoom Boom)
- Completion of client-specific training as required
- Other courses deemed necessary
- Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Physically capable of lifting and handling materials up to 50 lbs repeatedly
