LSC Industrial is seeking a highly skilled Glycol Steam Tracer / Tubing Installer to lead critical pre-shutdown and shutdown activities in the Conklin/Ft. McMurray area. Key Responsibilities:
- Layout, sub-assemble, and install complex glycol and steam tracing systems, including stainless steel tubing and manifold connections.
- Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipe and tubing to exact specifications using manual and power-operated tools.
- Conduct pressure testing on tracing lines to ensure leak-free performance prior to full plant startup.
- Read and follow complex P&IDs, blueprints, and tracing schedules to ensure accurate routing and heat transfer efficiency.
- Identify and repair existing tracing issues, ensuring proper slope and support to prevent condensate backup or freezing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience specifically in industrial steam tracing and small-bore tubing installation.
- Valid H2S Alive and CSO
- Must pass a pre-access Drug & Alcohol (D&A) test.
- Experience with knuckle picker operation; current tickets for Fall Arrest, Confined Space, Aerial Work Platform, and First Aid. (An asset)
