Big Guns Energy Services is now hiring for an Experienced Wireline Operator/Driver who is motivated, safety-focused, and ready to grow within our team. This is a Full-time position is based in Bonnnyville, Ab.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and transport equipment to and from job sites
- Assist with assembly and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Conduct vehicle and equipment safety checks
- Follow directions from supervisors and management
- Rig in/out wireline units, both standalone and rig assist
- Complete hazard assessments prior to work
- Spot equipment safely on sites
- Assemble and disassemble job-specific tools and equipment as required
- Assist in the assembly of different perforating assemblies
- Ensure safe operations on location
- Clean, service, and maintain tools/equipment after job completion
- Report incidents, accidents, and near misses—safety is everyone’s responsibility

Skills & Qualifications:
The Successful candidate must possess:
- Valid Class 3Q driver’s license with clean abstract
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work well in a team environment
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Mechanical aptitude and solid equipment maintenance knowledge
- Flexible with scheduling, including long/irregular hours and 24-hour call availability
- Willingness to learn, make continuous improvements, and grow within the company
- Safety certifications: H2S, First Aid, and other oilfield safety tickets are an asset
- Must be able to complete logbooks, 300-hour inspections, and driver vehicle inspection reports accurately
- Background check required
Compensation:
This role includes an annual salary based on experience and competitive day rates.
