Dragonfly Counselling & Support Centre is seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced leader to join us in our mission to end the cycle of sexual violence. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday role based out of Bonnyville, AB. As the Client Services Manager, you will be overseeing client-facing operations, ensuring that every individual who connects with us receives the highest standard of trauma-informed care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee, train, and mentor staff on conducting comprehensive needs assessments across all agency programs to ensure a trauma-informed approach to client care.
- Coordinate client access by managing waitlists and matching individuals with the most appropriate counsellors or community support services to ensure timely care.
- Oversee the Legal System Navigation and Crisis Response teams to ensure clients are seamlessly supported through the complexities of external systems and processes. Provide daily guidance, mentorship, and support to this multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain the integrity of the electronic records management system and lead all documentation efforts for client services and grant reporting.
- Provide direct intake, assessment, and trauma-informed intervention for clients.
- Facilitate regular team check-ins, department meetings, and team-building events to foster a healthy, collaborative work culture.
- Responsible for review of Needs Assessments for reporting and safety concerns through consultations with Client Support & Crisis Practitioners and reporting to the Clinical Supervisor for complex cases.
- Assigning clients to appropriate internal programs following Needs Assessments.
- Facilitating consults with LSAN Advocates to review and approve Legal Support Plans.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work is preferred. A Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent with experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated working experience with Standards of Practice and Standards of Care within a clinical or human services environment.
- Coordination experience is a must, including a proven track record of managing workflows, waitlists, or program standards.
- Experience supervising a team and a desire to mentor others in a fast-paced, trauma-informed environment.
- Working knowledge of case management systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Familiarity with Indigenous culture and history within Canada and a deep understanding of community resources in North Central East Alberta.
- A valid Alberta Driver’s License and reliable vehicle (travel is required).
- Clear Criminal Record and Child Intervention checks.
