Lakeland Lodge and Housing Foundation is accepting applications for a permanent part-time Cook position at the Cold Lake Lodge.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Food handling, preparation, distribution, and storage
- Replace and perform head cook duties when required
- Ability to make and record menu substitutions
- Supervision of dietary workers
- Provide courteous, professional customer service
- Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to
- Adhere to all Lakeland Lodge and Housing Foundation Policies
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven ability in food service industry
- Knowledge and experience of multiple diets
- Papered Cook Preferred but will consider experience level
- Certificate in dietary, sanitation and food handling course preferred
- Experience cooking in lodge setting preferred
- Ability to prepare and present tasteful and attractive meals
- Must be a team player and enjoy working with seniors
- Positive and caring attitude
- Decision making ability
SALARY SCHEDULE:
START RATE CERTIFIED: $21.40 STEP 1: $22.97 1 YEAR: $24.57
START RATE CERTIFIED: $20.42 STEP 1: $22.03 1 YEAR: $23.60
HOURS OF WORK: 8 hour shifts - 5 shifts per pay period (Week 1: Monday, Saturday, Sunday. Week 2: Monday, Friday). Shifts vary between 6am-230pm and 11am-730pm.
